History

2010 iRoam Mobile Solutions Inc. acquires Brightroam: an international roaming cellular service for voice and data, delivering a low cost but high quality service to business and individual travellers wishing to avoid the excessive roaming charges levied by domestic carriers. iRoam Mobile Solutions is an established provider of connectivity and security products and services for the mobile and roaming user, with solutions for roaming cellular and global internet access.  “Brightroam represents a significant upgrade of our existing roaming services, “said Richard Earle, CEO of iRoam. “It brings a large customer base, a mature provisioning and support service, and tremendous room for growth in delivering cost-effective data service for travelers, by combining our existing Global Wi-fi and Ethernet footprint with the newly acquired 3G services.”

2008 iRoam Launched RoamForce, a global cellular voice and data service enabling Individuals and businesses to expand their cellular roaming coverage when traveling, while reducing domestic wireless carrier roaming fees by up to 80%.

2002 iRoam began partnering with the leading business security products to ensure that iRoam's customers were able to access the leading technologies for securing their networks, devices, and data. iRoam continues to expand its portfolio of security solutions to meet the needs of its customers.

1997 iRoam's parent company, Sea Change Corporation, became a founding developer of a new technology concept “Internet Roaming” and created iPass. iPass provides over 100,000 global internet access points for quick and easy access when traveling. Sea Change Corporation, was appointed Master Solution Partner for iPass Global Internet Roaming Services. Serving more than 400 organizations, and thousands of users, iRoam continues to deliver in partnership with iPass, the highest standards of service and commitment that are expected by its customers. Today iRoam remains one of the largest providers of iPass in North America
