NetMotion Wireless is pleased to announce the release of Mobility XE 8.5.

This latest version of our award-winning software features a new Analytics Module which provides historical and granular detail on the status of an entire mobile deployment across any wired or wireless network.

In addition, the 8.5 release includes new functionality to deploy strong user-authentication methods, including public key infrastructure (PKI), smart cards and biometric systems. The expanded authentication options enable industries with strict data security regulations, such as law enforcement, to meet state and federal security guidelines, such as the Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) Security Policy.

Mobility XE 8.5 - Analytics Module

The Analytics Module features over 30 automated notifications and over 20 reports that identify the health of your mobile deployment, including:

*     Performance of networks, both wired and wireless
*     Network utilization across connections including Wi-Fi, wide-area cellular and wired
*     Bandwidth consumption per application or device
*     Number of devices connected to the network at any given time
*     Individual device usage
*     Success of network connection attempts and reasons for failures
*     Status of quarantined devices
*     Battery status

Upgrading to 8.5

The new module is available immediately at no charge for customers with existing premium maintenance agreements and for new customers who purchase the enterprise edition of Mobility XE.

The new authentication features in Mobility XE 8.5 are also available to customers with premium maintenance agreements as well as Mobility XE 8.0 customers with standard maintenance agreements.
